In summary, 

  • The Cancer Navigator service will continue to be funded as normal until 31 March 2027.
  • Patients currently receiving support from the service should continue to access it as they do now.
  • GP practices in Southport and Formby remain committed to supporting people affected by cancer.
  • We will work closely with local partners to help ensure appropriate support and advice remain available for patients and their families.
