NHS Breast Screening issue May 2018

Patients aged 68-71 years may not have received their invite for breast screening(caused by a technical issue).  Patients will receive a letter the week commencing 14th May 2018. There is a helpline number for patients to call 0800 169 2692

Aortic Aneursym Screening

Male patients aged over 65 can opt into this. Patients who fit the criteria can contact the screening department on 0151 706 4767 for more info

Cervical smear screening

Make an appointment with one of our practice nurses for this to be carried out if you are

  • between ages 25 and 49 - every three years
  • between ages 50 and 64 - every five years
  • over 65 - only women who haven't been screened since age 50 or those who have recently had abnormal tests
