Information and support centres

We offer cancer information materials, emotional support, benefits advice, outreach, volunteering opportunities and signposting to local support groups and advice. We also run support groups at the centre - including a singing group, craft group, carer's support group and Macmillan walking group. We run the ‘HOPE Course' (Help Overcoming Problems Effectively) to help people manage the day to day impact cancer has on their lives and rediscover their strengths after treatment ends. People can also access taster Tai Chi or seated Yoga sessions available at various times during the year at the Living Well Centre as well as attend the Bereavement Course run by them. Please contact us for more details of any of the above. You can follow centre events and courses on our facebook page and tweet us at @SouthportMacC
